EXPERIENCE

Graduate Continuing FellowUniversity of Texas at Austin. Spring 2023 - Present | Austin, TX 

  • Awarded a 12-month fellowship to direct and produce both a short and feature documentary in the remote mountains of the Republic of Georgia, managing logistics for 8 diverse shoots (including video and promotional stills).

  • assembled and led production teams, overseeing budgets and timelines and securing helicopter transportation and resources in unpredictable conditions.

  • Secured financing and developed pitches, grants, and designed promotional materials for European and American film markets and competitions, winning grants from the Austin Film Society and Mountainfilm, among others. 

  • Achieved proficiency in the Georgian language and organized a humanitarian initiative delivering supplies to an isolated winter population by helicopter. 

  • Successfully completed the short film, currently in festival submission, and wrapped production on the feature.

Videographer and Editor Mountainfilm Festival. January 2023 - July 2024 | Telluride, Colorado

  • Shot and edited short promotional videos for social media and web for the leading outdoor-themed festival in the U.S., sponsored by Yeti and  the North Face. 

  • Collaborated with the marketing manager to execute a cohesive branding strategy. 

  • Filmed and edited festival content during the event, creating trailers and promotional assets, balancing tight timelines and variable project scopes

  • Managed content production from concept to final delivery, ensuring consistent quality and alignment with the festival's brand voice.

  • Led production for a short fiction film shot in remote California locations, managing logistical challenges and coordinating a diverse team.

  • Oversaw all aspects of post production, from budgeting and scheduling, file management, to final delivery, ensuring high-quality deliverables for top festivals.

  • Developed the festival and distribution strategy for the film, which premiered at HBO's prestigious LGBTQ festival Outfest and was distributed on the popular YouTube channel Dust, receiving 464k views.
