I’m currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
My latest short documentary, Placekeepers, follows a community in the Georgian Caucasus Mountains and premiered at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival. The film is now screening internationally, including Oscar-qualifying festivals such as Mountainfilm and In the Palace Film Fest in Bulgaria.
Building on that work, I’m currently developing a feature-length documentary in the same region, co-directed with Georgian filmmaker and Sundance Ignite fellow Anna R. Japaridze.
My previous short, Heaven on Earth—a portrait of the matriarch of an ex-commune in Los Angeles—screened at multiple Oscar-qualifying festivals and was released by Directors Notes.
Alongside independent films, I collaborate with mission-driven organizations, news outlets, and brands to turn big ideas into personal, engaging stories—from fast-turnaround social content to longer-form brand and fundraising films. Recent collaborators include Al Jazeera, the Skoll Foundation, Video Consortium, Channel News Asia, Autodesk, Xero and Mountainfilm.
I hold an MFA in Film Production from the University of Texas at Austin.
